Behold The Lamb - Song Story and Tutorial

Hey, y'all! I recently recorded a quick song story and acoustic guitar tutorial for my song "Behold the Lamb". The purpose of the videos is to do some additional marketing to finish strong in the Christian Song Competition.

[VIDEO] - Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus - Old Hymn Made New

Hey, Y'all! I back with another new song for you. This is actually another old song that I've re-worked and added a new chorus.

The song is "Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus". It's a hymn text by Charles Wesley. The third verse is from another Wesley text called "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling". I was turned on to this arrangement by my friend Dennis Worley at Brentwood Baptist Church in Tennessee.

No gift given or received will ever match the gift of grace given us in the person of Jesus Christ. Advent remembers our longing, celebrates the fulfillment of that longing, and looks forward to the return of the King.

Enjoy!

If you like the song and would like to download it, you can go get it from PraiseCharts or Bandcamp. PraiseCharts recently featured it on their Advent/Christmas eBlast. Check it out!

Hey! How about subscribing to my blog via RSS feed or email? It's quick and easy and you'll never miss a single post. Thanks!

I first posted this a few years ago. Since only my Mom read my blog back then, I thought I would repost this. I hope it gets your Sunday morning off to a great start.

I saw this first on one of my friends' Facebook pages. It is the most incredible thing I've seen in a while. I certainly wasn't prepared for this. It's fairly long so I would suggest pressing play, then pause and let the video load for a while.

If you can't see the video in your RSS reader or email, click here.

Hey! How about subscribing to my blog via RSS feed or email? It's quick and easy and you'll never miss a single post. Thanks!

Here is a new original song for worship. I wrote the lyric based on a passage in Hebrews 12. It is a short song, so I used it in the place of a spoken exhortation or scripture reading between songs. Hope you enjoy!

Here is a new song I wrote back in January. I'm glad to share it with you. Take a look:
